SYNOPSIS
A young architect at a significant career crossroads is tasked with helping his father clean out the attic of his childhood home. While sorting through an old trunk, he discovers valuable family heirlooms, including several journals passed down through generations of his family. The journals bring up questions about his family's past that his father seems reluctant to answer. As Benjamin uncovers the legacy embedded in these pages, he confronts unanswered questions about his family's past and his view on his path forward.
QUICK FACT
15 Lines main character Benjamin is named after Benjamin Banneker (1731-1806) was an African-American naturalist, mathematician, astronomer and almanac author. He was also a landowner, rare for African-Americans during this time. He was also a surveyor and assisted in laying out the original boundaries of Washington D.C.
